Back in October of last year, hip hop artist Lizzo, known for her bold, alternative music style and for creating tunes that are both catchy as hell and full of body-positivity, tweeted out an iconic clip of her totally DESTROYING a flute solo during one of her performances with the caption “HAVE U EVER SEEN A BITCH PLAY FLUTE THEN HIT THE SHOOT?”
You might be thinking to yourself, “how well could the flute possibly work in hip hop?” Which is a fair question.
The answer is: It. Fucking. SLAPS.

Following its viral success, Lizzo issued a challenge to her viewers - daring all those who watch to respond with their own #FluteAndShoot. Naturally, there was no way that such a challenge was going to passed up by the master of the flute himself,
Mr. Ron Burgundy.
In a tweet from his newly established Ron Burgundy Podcast twitter account, he released the reply that I think it’s safe to say the whole world had been waiting for with bated breath, and it was well worth it.
Less than 20 minutes after Ron floored viewers and reminded everyone that he is a truly flawless flautist, Lizzo came back with an enthusiastic response and is clearly ready to throw the fuck DOWN

LETS TAKE IT TO THE STREETS https://t.co/IiHNcNLmdy
Whether “taking it to the streets” is going to mean a freestyle flute-off in a future episode of The Ron Burgundy Podcast or a good ol’ fashioned underground flute battle, this is going to be the music event of the century. Hold onto your woodwinds.
