I am currently attending UWL and working on a Bachelors in Political Science and trying to finish my first independent personally financed film, which has a budget of about three grand. It's at a run time of about an hour give or take five minutes, cause not everything I've shot has been cut into the final cut. But it will be about an hour and fifteen minutes, so we are almost done yet very far from it, and hope to finish over J-term also know as Christmas break. The film follows a normal guy, Norman McGee, who has a Fanboy roommate and believes his roommate has cursed him that he will himself become a Fanboy. He seeks the Oracle who tells him in order to cure himself of Fanboyism, he must cure the Fanboy of Fanboyism, so the other roommates in the house help Norman clean up Erwin to cure the, "Curse of Fanboy". Or that is what I would have put on the Screen letter query, but they are bullshit, so I'm just shooting the whole thing myself. The hope here is to enter into film festivals and get picked up to then make a proper film from this one, or other proper money paying films, get a foot in the door of film making. « less
