Thanks for that link, I actually did a lot of soul searching through high school and up til last year, literally reading every religious book I could get my hands on, The Bible of course was first, The Vedic Scriptures, the Koran, the book of Mormon etc etc etc, just to see what the differences were and I even studied a lot of ancient mythology. Religions just fascinate me and the way that people will conform to them. I know that last sentence makes me sound insane, but from my perspective I'm still not sure which ONE religion I believe the most because there are so many aspects of all of them that are similar, and that are alike. But, for this country all I can do is thank my knowledge of the Bible and know how to get out of arguments about it.

Thanks for bringing up the Vedic Scriptures. I knew there was something in there, but it had been so long since I had studied them I wasn't for certain if it was them, or one of the other religions that would have supported my case, and I couldn't find the quote I was thinking of anywhere. I just returned from the USCIS office downtown and would like to bring you up-to-date on what happened. Thanks to a few of the people on this blog, particularly gayandmarried, I have been able to assemble substantial evidence from this and other websites as to the activities of YesOn8Won, Gary Sher, ChristopherN79 and any number of his other aliases online the last few years. I presented them with this evidence and his verbal threat to have illicit intercourse with my wife.

According to the officer apparently he is not a U.S. citizen, but the possessor of a so-called green card which gives him permanent residency. However to maintain and keep permanent residency he must demonstrate acceptable behaviour at all times. It is clear from what I've demonstrated that YesOn8Won has used hate speech and appeared to exceed what is considered acceptable proper behaviour. Those who violate this may face disciplinary action ranging from a fine, jail sentence, loss of permanent status and/or deportation back to their country of origin. He added that in many cases the threat of rape or sexual coercion alone is enough for a prison sentence in most states.

I asked why someone who was living in the U.S. for so long would not become an American citizen. He said there are several reasons for this and it is not uncommon. First, the U.S. requires that you relinquish any other prior country's citizenship(s) in order to attain U.S. citizenship. Many people choose to maintain their original citizenship and therefore decline. Second, others have committed some offence that prevents them from receiving citizenship, but not enough to confiscate their permanent status. And lastly, they simply don't want to go through the required paperwork or cannot afford to do it.

He thanked me and mentioned that I've done a pretty complete job of assembling the evidence for my claim and he will be turning it over to his superior for further processing.

I asked if I could write this blog entry and he approved the text. He also asked me to tone-down my language and not make further blog comments until they have concluded their case study. I won't be privy to the results of their investigation. So this will be my last post for awhile. I'm going to try to forget this unfortunate individual and hope he gets his justice served. Yamuna is free to post as she desires as she is not part of this at all.
