Ira Rosensweig is an award-winning director and creative director known for arresting visuals and a unique comic sensibility. He started his career at MTV Networks, where he was allowed to be a true multihyphenate, writing, producing, directing, and editing full campaigns himself. The Spike Action Study, which he produced, directed, and edited for Spike TV, won Promax and Broadcast Design Awards for best short film or music video. Rosensweig was also honored with the Promax Rocket Award, which recognizes the best new producer in promotions worldwide. He has since directed commercials for brands such as Toyota, Geico, Universal Pictures, Absolut Vodka, Gillette, Disney, Taco Bell, Nissan, and Star Wars, and promos for networks including NBC, AMC, Bravo, History Channel, A&E, and Nickelodeon. Rosensweig's recent campaign for Mike's Harder Lemonade was honored by AdWeek as Ad Of The Day and Creativity as an Editor's Pick. Think Tank, a show he co-created and directed, as well as executive produced with Chris Moore, was an official selection of The Independent Pilot Competition at the 2014 New York Television Festival, and became A&E’s first digital series. He has also been commissioned to write screenplays for the Farrelly Brothers and MGM. Rosensweig is currently developing a number of film and TV projects including Guidance, about a down-on-his-luck high school guidance counselor who uses any means necessary to give a slacker student the life he missed out on himself. The film stars Seann William Scott, Rob Riggle, and Leslie Bibb, and is being produced by Chris and Paul Weitz’s Depth of Field Productions.
