In this pilot episode, Stephanie contacts Sean Chambers, an ex-boyfriend from high school. She wants to find out why he broke up with her when they had a virginity pact. All scenes are improvised. "The Retributioners" is a new, comedic webseries in the tradition of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," but presented from the perspective of a witty, vindictive woman. All the dialogue is improvised. Filmed on location in New York City, our main character, Stephanie Scott, is a happily married, accomplished woman, who feels that she has not yet proven herself to the world. She decides to contact past boyfriends, former friends, teachers, skinny people, etc., to seek retribution. Each episode will guest star a hilarious actor playing the part of an acquaintance who has hurt Stephanie. The result: a really funny, witty, sarcastic, smart confrontation with many possible surprises and endings. < less
