Description: A trailer for THE NEXT BLAIR WITCH - coming soon from Panik Attak Productions... Matt Williams makes short films. Bad short films. Desperate to make his first feature and, after being turned down for funding time and again, Matt resolves to do it himself. Maxing out his credit cards and with his very own Sancho Panza by his side in the form of cameraman Clive, Matt decides to emulate the success of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT by, well, by ripping it off. He assembles a cast of three: Paul, a narcissistic young rocker; Megan, an emotionally volatile Wiccan; and Dai, a handyman with a dream of opening his own dojo, and together they head for the woods. Try as he might, Matt fails to strangle any kind of performance out of his untrained cast. All his efforts are re-focused on keeping them from killing each other and, even worse, walking off set. Matt is at his wits end... until one of them goes missing. THE NEXT BLAIR WITCH is not a spoof of a great film, but a film in its own right. Every low to no-budget filmmaker's desire is to hit the big time, to score a hit, to make 'the next Blair Witch'. This short is about one such filmmaker's obsession and the moral compromises he will make in order to get his picture in the can.
