Funny, yes, but hardly to the "Constitutional" point. Our founding fathers intended for us to keep and bear arms to protect ourselves from the government, not from street criminals, as they did when the fought the Revolution. One would think self-protection would be a human right, but throughout history governments have always resisted the idea that citizens should be allowed to resist THEIR intrusions. Crime is good for the state because it justifies the state. Armed citizens are bad for the state, because they limit the state. But, I guess, that's what this whole election is about, isn't it? Americans vs Statists.
