Donna on Demand is centered around an aging actor (CORBIN BERNSEN) who for a brieg time in the mid to late 70's enjoyed all the rewards of a bona fide celebrity. Actually a talented actor, well trained and well read, the projects of his career never lived up to his potential. To facilitate that, with a hit television series under his belt and a couple of successful yet "thin" studios movies, he took his earnings and sunk it into an independent movie studio with the notion of "creating art."
That was 30 years ago...It's been a long road and mostly downhil with minimal success at best. There are no more movies, the studio is run down and its stage is rented out to a Porno outfit. He spends his days half pickled in a loft above it. That and five wives later, suffice to say he's pretty close to broke, financially and physically.
All that is about to change when a young man shows up at his door, his "biggest fan." The kid has a screenplay that will change his life. That and a young girl coincidental enters his life at almost the same time. Something is in motion, something big, but whether is a good or bad thing for our actor remains to be seen.
