  • My cat does this when we try to take food away from him, he's not in distress? The cat isn't held there, it can run if it's too "distressed". It pretty much looks like my cat when he kills a mouse or a mole and brings it in the house and we try to take it from him, whenever we get too close he howls and licks like that because he's pissed and fat.
