How can ANYONE watch a clip with both Stephen Colbert AND Jon Stewart together and not consider it comedic? Even just a little? These characters are two of the most witty and intellectual comedians that I can think of! They took a serious subject matter and tastefully sprinkled it with a little comedy to give it some levity! They both are class acts who obviously care enough to try to make a difference! And much props to Stephen Colbert for that generous donation! Having said that, I wonder what amount ol' Jon boy gave? At least the same, you would think. Either way, Good Job to both!
You know, folks, it was a charity event! He gave $50k for crying out loud. Of course, ever since the White House Correspondent's dinner speech, I admire him so much it's hard for me to see anything lame about Stephen. What balls. A good man.
