The mode of argument that Tucker chose was one of "you're just a comedian". And by the way- that's the same cop-out that Jim Cramer tried to pull (watch the interview he did on the Daily Show, you'll see the clip of Cramer on one of the morning shows trying to pull that "he's just a comedian" BS.)

Bottom line: You can't have it both ways- you can't criticize the comedian for saying "but I'm a comedian" when his opponents are saying "but you're just a comedian."

I just watched the crossfire jon stewart episode that Rotwang mentioned and I thought that Tucker handled Stewart's insults in a fairly professional manner. I just watched the crossfire jon stewart episode that Rotwang mentioned and I thought that Tucker handled Stewart's insults in a fairly professional manner. Stewart was burning both Tucker & the left wing representative and being disrespectful to their show.. He basically told both of them their show was awful & to stop... If that's his opinion fine... but then anytime he was criticized he used the "I'm just a comedian" card which is bullshit. Yeah... Stewart is just a comedian... But he has a big following and a responsibility because people do listen to him... So If he wants to be a guest on a real politic show he better be ready to bring it and not cry... " oh I'm just a comedian" every time his back is against the wall... guys a fucking pussy.

When I saw Tucker in the introduction sequence in the other vids in this (great) series, I clicked around to find the Tucker video, but couldn't find it. Now we finally see it, pretty good. I pretty much agree with MikeSeib's comment. Admittedly tucker made some good points.

When I saw Tucker in the introduction sequence in the other vids in this (great) series, I clicked around to find the Tucker video, but couldn't find it. Now we finally see it, pretty good. I pretty much agree with MikeSeib's comment. Admittedly tucker made some good points.

But every time I see Tucker's face, all I can think of is how much he got burned by Jon Stewart on crossfire. I heard he got fired shortly after. "Say something funny. You're not as funny here as you are on your show." Jon: "Yea well you're just as much of a dick here as you are on any show."
