*Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation was created in 1937 by the
merger of Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation and the Hocking Glass
Company. This brought together mass production and colored glassware.
The word "Fire-King" first appears on glassware in the early 1940's.
Intended as a group of oven-proof lines, "Fire-King" became the most
successful of Anchor Hocking's products.*
*Fire King was very
collectable in the 1980's and 1990's. Prices range from $15.00 to
several thousands of dollars for single pieces.*

Rare pieces in the middle of the 1990's sold for $1,000+ dollars 'Jadeite'
My collection of Jadeite surpasses 500 and Turquoise around 200+
I have over 1,000 pieces of Fire King starting from the depression all the way until its final days of production.
All made in Lancaster Ohio.
