A Canadian group known as “the Vacant lot” did this joke, on television, in the early nineties. Not the commercial parody but the douche line. It wasn’t funny then, either
Well the shots and performances are almost exact but what I always wondered about the original was that the lyrics they were getting confused about – Rock the Casba – was THE NAME OF THE FUCKING SONG!!! How did they look up the song and download it to their phone without knowing what it was called?
