The Anatomy Of Dave Rabbit's Triple Bypass Heart Surgery

Description: On July 11th, 2011, our Dad, Dave Rabbit, goes into the hospital for what he has been led to believe is a procedure called Coronary Artery Angioplasty (PCI, Heart Stent Surgery), to open up one or two blocked heart arteries. When he comes out of the anesthesia, he is given the bad news that all three of his major heart arteries have such severe blockage in all of them, minimally of 90% each, that stents will not solve the problems. So, on the following day, July 12th, 2011, Dave goes in for major open heart surgery and multiple arterial by-passes. Although the surgery is successful, the trauma of the event will mean that Dave will be out of pocket for a short period of time and will be unable to post new shows. He hopes to be back on his feet as soon as possible. To the thousands of you who have sent your best wishes through E-Mails, IM's, Pod-O-Matic, Facebook and numerous other military sites around the world, my brother and I thank you. Our Dad has been entertaining military men and women around the world since he was in Saigon, Vietnam in 1971. His faith in those who serve, and the thoughts and prayers of each of you, were his greatest strength. This is truly an example of "That Which Doesn't Kill Us, Makes Us Stronger."
