James Tripp is the proud great grandson of Irish-American immigrants, who came to this country when they couldn't grow any more potatoes for their still. He was a candidate for the Mayor of Los Angeles in 1997, a candidate for United States Senator in 1998, a candidate for the President of the United States in 1996, 2000 and 2004, a former political aid, a past reporter for "The Martha's Vineyard Times" and was the news director for WMVY-FM radio. Tripp is originally from New York, went to college in the Boston area and is currently living in Los Angeles. < less
