Scott Stapp: So this week, I checked
out a new film called Creed.
Scott Stapp: I said to myself, finally.
The epic tale of my band
Scott Stapp: Creed is coming to
the big screen.
Michael B. Jordan: (Voiceover) Every move
that make.
Michael B. Jordan: (Voiceover) Every punch that I throw.
Michael B. Jordan: (Voiceover) Everything is going to
be compared to him.
Scott Stapp: As Creed the move
unfolded, there wasn't much
Scott Stapp: that resembled what happened
in Creed the band.
Scott Stapp: The main character is played
by Michael B. Jordan,
Scott Stapp: you know, interesting
choice,
Scott Stapp: I mean, we don't look
much a like,
Scott Stapp: and the characters
name is Creed, not Scott Stapp.
Scott Stapp: Sometimes when I walk
down the street people
Scott Stapp: shout out, "What's up Creed?"
Scott Stapp: So, I guess I
get it.
Scott Stapp: This movie has
a lot of boxing.
Scott Stapp: One time I punched a guy
from 311, but I never
Scott Stapp: actually boxed.
Scott Stapp: Spoiler alert!
Scott Stapp: Creed the movie has no
epic guitar solos played
Scott Stapp: on a mountaintop.
Scott Stapp: And at no point does
Creed sing on a steep cliff.
Scott Stapp: That's what we
do best.
Scott Stapp: Then out of no where
Creed is hanging out
Scott Stapp: with Rocky Balboa.
Scott Stapp: Take it straight from the
guy from Creed.
Scott Stapp: We never met
Rocky Balboa.
Scott Stapp: In one scene, Creed
is in front of a huge crowd,
Scott Stapp: and I was like is he
about to play Woodstock '99?
Scott Stapp: Nope.
Scott Stapp: Just more boxing.
Scott Stapp: I can't deny

Philadelphia as a gritty
Scott Stapp: tapestry with his flair
for high contrast lighting,
Scott Stapp: and deathly orchestrated

Scott Stapp: Anyway, I thought the
performances were good.
Scott Stapp: Jordan, Stallone
they're great.
Scott Stapp: I give this movie 4
arms wide open.
