Season 2.” Taped live during her successful run at The Acme Theatre in Los Angeles, "Friends with Babies" finds Andrea reading an annual holiday form letter from an old college friend. Assaulted by the single-spaced, double-sided account of the artistic ability, mathematical prowess and playground popularity of her friend’s toddlers, Andrea grapples with the age old question: What happens to your friends once they have babies? Not only are Andrea’s friends with babies (FWBs) unable to converse without constant cooing and ca-ca interruptions, unavailable to join her for a post-date gossip session and unwilling to forsake a night in the family bed for a mouth-watering martini, they actually believe that their progeny’s fascination with slides, swings and Sesame Street is news-worthy. Disheartened at the deterioration of her FWB friendships but nothing if not resilient, Andrea creates her own holiday form letter chock-full of details of her glamorous child-free, single gal L.A. lifestyle. Cheered up by her suddenly fabulous existence, Andrea’s determined not to let her FWBs friendships slip away.
