Toni Charline: Hi everyone.
Welcome to Munchies.
Toni Charline: My name is Toni,
I'm your host.
Toni Charline: And please welcome Jonathan.
He is my guest.
Toni Charline: Today, we will be getting high,
and then thinking about
Toni Charline: whatever munchie comes
to mind, and then making that.
Toni Charline: You like joints, right?
Jonathan Van Ness: I like joints. I love bongs,
I love joints, I love everything.
Toni Charline: I know one of
these is caviar, this one.
Toni Charline: So it's like
wrapped in kief?
-Oh my God, yes honey.
That sounds great.
-Oh does it? Okay. Okay.
-Perk her up.
Jonathan Van Ness: It's so good.
Toni Charline: Do you have a munchie
that you usually go to that you like,
Toni Charline: or is a nostalgic one?
That's fun too.
-Oh my God.
Jonathan Van Ness: Oh my God,
Jonathan Van Ness: in my hometown
there's this restaurant,
Jonathan Van Ness: and they made this
peanut butter and jelly pizza.
Jonathan Van Ness: Pizza Hut in the 90s had this
other pizza called like Taco Pizza.
Jonathan Van Ness: Another nostalgic moment is
mud pie I've been thinking about a lot.
Jonathan Van Ness: Do you know what mud pie is?
Or like a Ruby Tuesday's chocolate tall cake.
Jonathan Van Ness: Do you remember the
chocolate tall cake that they had?
Jonathan Van Ness: Oh my God, and in
first grade we made ice cream
Jonathan Van Ness: where you rolled Folgers
cans back and forth to each other,
Jonathan Van Ness: like a baby Folgers can
full of like ice cream stuff
Jonathan Van Ness: inside a big Folgers can
with like rock salt and ice,
Jonathan Van Ness: and it makes
like ice cream.
-[ laughing ]
-I'm dead serious.
Toni Charline: If there was a way to
roll a can back and forth--
Jonathan Van Ness: Okay, so we're going to
make homemade ice cream.
Jonathan Van Ness: Do you want
to spice it up?
Toni Charline: Nutella, ice cream.
Jonathan Van Ness: That doesn't
sound that good.
Jonathan Van Ness: It's got too many
-You want a Nutella ice cream?
Jonathan Van Ness: Okay.
Jonathan Van Ness: That sounds fun.
Toni Charline: So we're back with the
ingredients for homemade ice cream.
Toni Charline: Step 1.
Toni Charline: Alright, here we go.
Oh yes, great idea.
Toni Charline: Mix together whole milk,
whipping cream, and sugar.
[ both are laughing ]
Toni Charline: Okay, one..
Toni Charline: 1 cup whipping cream.
Jonathan Van Ness: Okay.
Toni Charline: Sugar.
Jonathan Van Ness: Oh my God, there's like a
full chemical reaction going on.
Toni Charline: Wait, we didn't...
Or we did mix them together.
Toni Charline: I guess we never really like put
a spoon in there and mixed it.
-We just put them in there.
Toni Charline: TONI: Oh boy. Careful...
Jonathan Van Ness: It is as thick as
the day is long.
-We're not getting in--
-You're not getting out.
Toni Charline: We...
Toni Charline: So there's going to
have to be a place...
Mmm, those are so good.
Toni Charline: Okay, now
it's time to roll it.
-Let's see how long we roll it.
-I think like 10 minutes.
-10 minutes. You're right.
Toni Charline: Oh wait, no, it's
ready in 10 minutes.
Jonathan Van Ness: That's for people
who move at normal speeds.
Jonathan Van Ness: One, two, three.
Jonathan Van Ness: How many
minutes has it been?
Toni Charline: Oh, I picked it up
and it was on 420 left.
Toni Charline: That's true folks.
Toni Charline: Remove this
from both cans.
Toni Charline: Add desired toppings.
Toni Charline: Repack with ice and salt.
Jonathan Van Ness: Oh, it's starting to happen.
-It is cold.
-It is cold.
Jonathan Van Ness: It's going to be a
hunk of shit at the bottom.
-Whoa, she's pretty.
-Oh this is very like witty.
Jonathan Van Ness: Oh my God, all of the
ice cream is on the side.
Toni Charline: What a great idea, and easy.
The whole kids can do it, the whole family.
-Look, no mess.
-Yeah, no mess.
Toni Charline: Less stress, no mess.
[ he giggles ]
-Bunch of crap.
Toni Charline: Thank you for
making this delicious...
-What is it called?
-It's homemade ice cream in a can.
Jonathan Van Ness: And what a cute like
Martha Stewart serving idea,
just like in a little tin.
-Well, thanks everybody.
Jonathan Van Ness: Oh.
