Will Ferrell: Hello. You the new butler?
John C. Reilly: Ha ha. Well, it’s been a long time since I was the new anything.
Will Ferrell: What’s happened to Hudson?
John C. Reilly: I guess he’s changing.
Will Ferrell: Yeah, he does that a lot doesn’t he? Oh, I’m David Bowie. I live down the road.
John C. Reilly: Oh.
Will Ferrell: Sir Percival lets me use the piano when he’s not around. He’s not around is he?
John C. Reilly: I can honestly say I haven’t seen him, but come on in. Go ahead. Come on in.
Will Ferrell: Are you related to Sir Percival?
John C. Reilly: Well, distantly.
Will Ferrell: Oh, you’re not the poor relation from America, right?
John C. Reilly: Ha ha. Gee, news sure travels fast. I’m Bing.
Will Ferrell: Pleased to meet you. You’re the one that sings, right?
John C. Reilly: Well, right or wrong, I sing either way.
Will Ferrell: Well, I sing too.
John C. Reilly: Oh good! What kind of singing.
Will Ferrell: Mostly contemporary stuff. Do you like modern music?
John C. Reilly: Oh, I think it’s marvelous. Some of it’s really fine. But, tell me, do you ever listen to any of the older fellas?
Will Ferrell: Oh yeah, sure, I like John Lennon and the other one: the fellow with the hairy neilson.
John C. Reilly: Oh, you go back that far, eh?
Will Ferrell: Yeah, I’m not as young as I look.
John C. Reilly: None of us is, these days.
Will Ferrell: In fact, I’ve got a six year old son and he really gets excited around the Christmas holiday thing.
John C. Reilly: Do you go in for any of the traditional things in the Bowie household at Christmas time?
Will Ferrell: Oh yeah, most of them really. Presents. Tree. Decorations. Agents sliding down the chimney.
John C. Reilly: What?
Will Ferrell: I was just seeing if you were paying attention.
John C. Reilly: Ha ha.
Will Ferrell: Actually, our family does most of the things other families do. Sing the same songs.
John C. Reilly: Do you?
Will Ferrell: I even have a go at White Christmas.
John C. Reilly: You do, eh?
Will Ferrell: And this one, this is my son’s favorite. Do you know this one?
John C. Reilly: Oh, I do indeed. That’s a lovely thing.
[John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell perform a duet. John C. Reilly sings The Little Drummer Boy, while Will Ferrell simultaneously sings Peace on Earth.]
John C. Reilly: Oh, that’s a pretty little thing, isn’t it?
Come they told me pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
A new-born king to see pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Our finest gifts we bring pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Rum-pum-pum-pum, rum-pum-pum-pum
Come they told me pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
A new-born king to see pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Our finest gifts we bring pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
to lay before the king pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Rum-pum-pum-pum, rum-pum-pum-pum
so to honour him pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
when we come
Little baby pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
I stood beside him there pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
I played my drum for him pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
I played my best for him pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
Rum-pum-pum-pum, rum-pum-pum-pum
And he smiled at me pa-rum-pum-pum-pum
me and my drum
Peace on Earth, can it be
Years from now, perhaps we'll see
See the day of glory
See the day, when men of good will
Live in peace, live in peace again
Peace on Earth, can it be
Every child must be made aware
Every child must be made to care
Care enough for his fellow man
To give all the love that he can
I pray my wish will come true
For my child and your child too
He'll see the day of glory
See the day when men of good will
Live in peace, live in peace again
Peace on Earth, can it be
Can it be
Will Ferrell: Very nice.
John C. Reilly: Alright Bobby, you have a Merry Christmas.

- Good show, old men.
- In fact , Will's quite an expressive singer :)
- I love John C Reilly, and i think he's a good singer. though every time i see him i can only think of Mr. Crepsley from Cirque Du Freak
- The point is the original's tension -- which is palpable. This was very very funny. :D
