If you haven't seen Blazing Saddles you won't get it... A tribute to the comedic genius of Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor in their making of the 1974 film "Blazing Saddles". This sketch is a remake of the sheriff scene conveyed through a modern political setting. The point of Blazing Saddles, which was co-written by Richard Pryor, is to highlight the use of such words and stereotypes so as to present it as ridiculous and to nullify such terms as having any power or validity. All participants in the making of this sketch would like to extend their congratulations to our new and more than worthy President Barack Obama for being "judged not by the color of your skin but by the content of your character." We look forward to eight wonderful years with you in the White House. There couldn't be a more suited person for the job. < less
