Alaska collected $450 million in Federal taxpayer money last year alone, and it only has 700,00 residents. That, plus the socialist-payouts coming from the oil companies drilling on Alaskan land (money that should go into State coffers so that less federal money would be needed to support it) makes Alaska the largest welfare state in the Union.
