Abe Lincoln gets advice on the Gettysburg Address from a PR agency. This was a fun project where I wanted to do a short story in a single Steadicam shot that begins and ends at the same place. We had only a few hours to get in, take down the Valentines Day decorations, rehearse, light, shoot it, put the decorations back up and get out of the restaurant ( ad Agency) before the lunch crowd. Ultimately we had about 30 minutes to actually shoot the spot and got 4 good takes. Each take had good and bad points and I chose take #3 to show. The only "pros" were me (Steadicam), the writer ( great script!), make up and grip. All the actors were novices except "Rep #1" who does some community theater. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who braved the snow and cold to help make this happen. Special thanks to the folks at 86 West restaurant in Doylestown, PA. NOTE: This should be 16:9, not sure why it's not. « less
