In the summer of 04 myself and a fellow ex-improving friend of mine were feeling the sting of the creative doldrums. One muggy June weekend we decided to film an improv of a few different scenes and sketches. A rough cut was made and a DVD burned for first look purposes. Many changes occurred, re-cuts and music cue musical chairs. And then, near the projects completion, the computer on which these formidable sketches were being cut gave up the good fight and the project was lost to the annuls of time.
A few hours ago a mysterious DVD was unearthed from a closet in egypt (my apartment) during a random and infrequent bought of cleaning. Dust covered and brittle from the passage of time, this disc represents all that remains of a once great empire of improv material. A few select scenes were salvageable, representing a shade of what would have been.
Here for the first time in six years are selected bits from Skit's O' Fun the Third.
