i agree with speck, there is talent there, but topic is way too taboo...i don't think rape, in any scenario can be made into comedy. the late fees skit was funny though.

ok that was definitely unexpected, and really very cringe worthy at the end. I give it a thumbs up just because of the originality and the fortitude to go there, but probably past edgy into no man's land

This skit is clearly NOT FUNNY. Unfortunately, it's not the topic that's the problem. We've seen alot of topics that we thought were inappropriate for comedy. It's the portrayal. We clearly see the woman is very much in pain over the ordeal. She utters a few words and ends up running away from him. He is portrayed as "OOPS, well, gotta go." The humor conveyed is "He raped her, got away with it, she does nothing about it, oh how awkward would that be, isn't that funny?" Uh, no.

Now if she kicked is his arse right there on the sidewalk with a sprinkling of a few choice words, THAT would have been funny.

Typical of all too much comedy today, the female, while more physically attractive than her co-star, is given nothing to do. The male, who gets all the 'funny' dialogue, is really nothing more than a Peter Griffin clone. The amount of consideration that seems to have been given to cinematography or editing, or sound is on par with video pornography.

Normally I am all for encouraging people who want to try their hand at creativity. However, even if one ignores the utter lack of consideration towards creative value from which this production suffers, the real flaw is in the failure of the 'creative minds' responsible for this to realize that shock is a poor substitute for laughter. The exception being reserved solely for an audience who are unfortunately detached enough from reality that they would actually find humor in the chance run in between rapist and victim. The uncomfortable silences, which I can only assume was reserved for laughter, instead only created opportunity to imagine brutal images of rape.

Simply put, this is weak.

Just because you can shoot video and put it on the internet for millions to see, doesn't mean you should.
