Sandra Bernhard has had quite a diversified career as a comedian, singer, actress and author. In 1983, she was cast in her first film, The King of Comedy, directed by Martin Scorsese. Since then, Bernhard has appeared in numerous other films including Inside Monkey Zetterland, Hudson Hawk, and more recently, Dinner Rush. Bernhard is well known for her wide array of television appearances as well. From 1991-1996, she acted as Nancy on Roseanne, and had guest starring roles on Ally McBeal and Will and Grace.
