Out on DVD 6/16/09! "I'll Be There With You" explores the complexities of love in both its brightest and darkest corners as an unusual group of characters faces tragic consequences. The story chronicles a seemingly innocent spring break retreat to the outskirts of San Diego for young couple, Aki (played by Writer-Director, Akihiro Kitamura) and Annie (Adarsha Benjamin). Surrounded by their eccentric and somewhat troubled group of friends, the couple's recently strained relationship finds little solace, and their tryst quickly leads to infidelity. However, their problems are soon eclipsed by far more menacing forces: Constantine (Daniel Baldwin), the perverse man that owns the ranch where the friends are staying, and a group of roaming schizophrenics. The tragic events that follow serve as a catalyst for the young couple's recognition of true love and acceptance of destiny. < less
