A Smoldering Soul in the Winds of Change I am the grizzled end of the Old West, a chip off the block of shattered dreams. I am a lone coyote prowling the hills, sniffing for excesses and eccentricities. I am the hobo on the high road, living out of a sack and whistling in the dark. I am Crazy Horse facing off with suburbia, living by wits, last of my tribe. I am the end of the world howling in the wilderness of the human soul. I am an orangutan in a cage waiting for the locks to rust away... I am every scrap of poetry ever tossed in troubled times... I am the ancient ember of who we were before Mammon. Blow me.
