Philip Zlotorynski graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge with a degree in film and television production in 1997. During that year he wrote and directed the digital short drama THE SEVENTH DAY that was screened in Chicago by Cinema One and later became an official selection of the B-Movie Film Festival in New York.
In 1998 he released the digital action-adventure THUNDERPOINT, and co-produced the action-adventure UNFORESEEN COURAGE for Quest Pictures.
In 2003, after completing the dramatic short SWAY Philip went to work on WALKENTALK which quickly became a cult favorite on the festival circuit. His feature debut MY BIG FAT INDEPENDENT MOVIE was released by Anchor Bay Entertainment in 2006. His new short SERVED has just begun its film festival tour.
Having recovered from B-Movie burnout after two years as head of the Trailer Department for Roger Corman's Concorde-New Horizons, Philip Zlotorynski has chosen to burn himself out again by pursuing a career in filmmaking. < less
