But those engineered to play pranks on fraternity brothers were very rare. In this prank, a candidate for membership to the Modern Woodmen of America, The Shriners, The Moose, The Elks, etc, blew forcefully into the nozzle, tripping a complex lever and spring system, causing a 32 cal blank to explode; flour is suddenly scattered over the candidate's face. Silent w/soundtrack. This peculiar item was invented and patented by the DeMoulin Brothers of Greenville, Illinois in the early 1900s. It was offered for sale in private catalogs sent to Fraternal lodges. It was one of the DeMoulin Bros. Co. most popular offerings.
