National Freebie Day is a United States holiday observed on September 17th.
The first Freebie Day coincides with the New York theatrical release of THE FREEBIE, a dramatic feature film written & directed by Katie Aselton and starring Dax Shepard & Katie Aselton.
National Freebie Day is a day of celebration intended for married people and long-term committed couples who are currently in monogamous relationships. The holiday is regarded as a day for committed couples to express their sexuality separately from each other with the understanding that a night of freedom will ultimately reinvigorate couples’ sexual connection and serve to bring them closer both emotionally and sexually. National Freebie Day organizers hope to remove the stigma and taboo surrounding mutually consensual sexual exploration and expressions in any manner.
