The video opens with green background preview icon: the following preview has been approved for all audiences by the Motion Picture Association of America. The shot cuts to a shadowy figure standing at a microphone. The shot cuts the following text: HE HAS SOLD MORE THAN 12 MILLION RECORDS. The shot cuts back to the figure and then to the following text: AND PERFORMED MORE THAN 1,000 LIVE SHOWS. The shot cuts back to the figure and then to the following: BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT MADE HIM. The shot cuts to the figure grasping the microphone. The shot then cuts to one word: WEIRD. The shot fades to black and then to Andrew Astor sitting at a piano. Gary Cole walks into the room.

Gary Cole: Hey, your mother found these under the bed.

Gary Cole tosses two accordion magazines down.

Gary Cole: I told you to get rid of this filth.

Andrew Astor: You don’t understand me!

Andrew Astor storms away. The shot cuts to Gary Cole sitting at a kitchen table with Mary Steenburgen.

Gary Cole: Face it, honey. Our boy is weird.

Mary Steenburgen: I know he’s weird.
