Life's A Trip! If you saw my video, you already know that I started a job on Monday and quit Tuesday. This is so out of character for me. A year ago I would have decided to suck in up and stay, while living in a state a misery. Listen, sometimes you have to do the horrible jobs to get a-head. You learn from them and they help build character. Trust me, I have had my share of straining positions. This was not an easy decision to make. I was really looking forward to some stability in my life and lets face it, jobs aren't growing on trees these days. There was just something inside of me that felt this was the wrong direction. This wasn't the time to suck it up and get stuck all over again. This was the time for me to do something different. Let the stability go and continue on my adventure.
I was hoping this would be the answer after living in a state of confusion about what I want to do. I was hoping to finally have some clarity. In a crazy way, it actually ended up being the answer.
I have finally realized that I am not a behind the desk kind of person. Still not sure what I should do but at least I figured that much out. I guess it's all about the baby steps.
Also, by leaving that position, I opened the doors to another opportunity. I have been asked to be a regular guest on a Local San Diego TV show. I am so grateful to have found a rainbow after this storm. Whether or not there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, is still to be determined ;)
