The Beatles Were Terrifying w/Fred Willard
February 7th, 1964 the Beatles first came to America. And it was... terrifying. From The Midnight Show.
- English breathing.....terrifying! Fred Willard is one of the funniest people ever (for any of you that need convincing check out all the Christopher Guest comedies)
- I thought it was insulting to the 'Beatles". Kids will think that's how it really was. It was great! It was thrilling time to be alive. Some jokes aren't really funny.
- This is all kinds of fucked up.
- This is genius.
- its stupid.
- this is so much crap - obviously (who's the scariest chicks segment) filmed from a pre-rehearsed script. I lived this myself, I'm 65, saw them in person in Toronto - women were NOT scared, we were thrilled out of our minds!!! (and deaf for hours later)
- Decent, but isn't this just a reworking of "Beatles 3000," which was done many years ago, coincidentally by one of the Funny or Die staffers before he worked there? The premise is similar, thought not nearly as well executed, and the first part is lifted almost verbatim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z2vU8M6CYI
- I'm surprised that nobody thought of this before!
