I really like the shy reporter character, but I don't think you should have referred to yourself as the "shy reporter" on camera. The name of the bit is Shy Reporter and you do a good job of it, so you don't need to say it. You should have a name that sounds like a shy reporter... Jenny Culp, Charlotte Matherson, something like that.
