I wasnt going to share this video, but my mom convinced me that I should be showing the world what they missed out on. Some backstory:
In 2008 they held auditions in LA and New York for a movie called Precious. In the book "Push", on which the movie is based, the characters are of African American descent. However, after reading the sides and doing some sense memory exercises I realized that I could do as good a job as anyone. After all... Black, white, or even purple (well, not purple... I hate those free loaders), if youre an Actor its about acting and not about the color of your skin. So, I put myself on tape here in Toronto and submitted electronically. Unfortunately, as those who have watched the movie would confirm, I was not cast.
This video exists to show that I, Dan Abramovici, and not Monique, should have landed the role of Precious' mom Mary. « less
