What the President is doing is absolutelt honorable. Obviously, the conflict and the loss of our fine young troops is weighing heavily on his conscience. In contrast, the notion of “Swing em Home” is rather sophomoric. These three young men would better serve their country by donning a uniform in defense of its position and beliefs. I would like to know if any of them have served in the armed forces? I doubt it. Oh, and one more thing, it’s “President Bush,” not “Bush.” No military man worth his salt would ever refer to the President in such a trite and disrespectful way! A Marine is not interested in the personality that occupies the office, he is only concerned with upholding the honor of the office itself and thereby the nation. Marines (and sailors and airmen and soldiers) die so that these fellows don’t have to.
