Montrealer Keir Cutler is the playwright/performer of the multiple-award-winning solo play Teaching Shakespeare: A Parody (French translation, Fou de Shakespeare), and the sequel Teaching Detroit, a monologue adaptation of Mark Twain's Is Shakespeare Dead?, Teaching Witchcraft, Lunatic Van Beethoven, and Teaching As You Like It. He has performed his monologues across Canada, in New York City and four of his solo shows are broadcasted on television by BRAVO!/CANADA.
Keir has a Ph.D. in theatre from Wayne State University in Detroit, a playwriting diploma from the National Theatre School of Canada, and a B.A. from McGill University. He is a member of ACTRA.
Keir has also appeared as an actor in several tv and film projects filmed in the Montreal area. He will guest star in two episodes of the hit Québécois tv series "Bob Gratton: Ma Vie, My Life" airing in 2008 on TQS.
