I worked for Spherion and was assigned to IBM. There were 4 temp agencies providing IT support for IBM. IBM decided it wanted to consolidate its contracts. An agency, Career Connections, Inc. won the bid. CCI hired all the temp currently working for other agencies at the same salary, but their benefits were not as good. An agency, Career Connections, Inc. won the bid. CCI hired all the temp currently working for other agencies at the same salary, but their benefits were not as good. So I can identify with this video. That is basically how it went down with me. My Spherion manager came to my cube and tod me that he had just been made the manager of CCI and I no longer worked for Spherion. If I signed this paper, I would them work for him again for CCI. Confusing times. I liked Spherion as a company. CCI was just okay.
