Keep Calm In Crowed Theatres/Rummage Couch For Change

By Donna Jo Thorndale and Shira Piven.

Day 7: Looking ahead. Three weeks out and our guts are in a knot. Up all night watching current events. Every time I hear a McCain supporter speak about Obama the exact same phrase comes up: ‘he scares me ‘. John Lewis, civil rights leader, said ‘McCain is sowing the seeds of racism ‘. Palin found guilty in Troopergate probe and booed at hockey game. US Market dips below 9.000, global crisis looming.

How do we get thru next twenty-four days?

DAILY:
Watch Keith Olbermann
Go for half-price Mai Tais at the Tiki Ti on Sunset Blvd.
Do yoga

IN GENERAL:
Keep calm in crowded theatres
Participate in the process
Have a lot of sex
Don ‘t yell at the kids

WHEN YOU CAN ‘T TAKE IT ANYMORE:
Clean out closet
Hike
Keep steady stash of Ben and Jerry ‘s “Chunky Monkey” on hand and eat while going to factcheck.org on the webinet

MORNING OF NOVEMBER 4TH:
VOTE*

*over one third of eligible voters did not vote in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections.
