Josh Cohen and Tamra Malaga first met in 1999 at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater in New York City, where they performed as members of the house Harold teams Team C.H.U.D, The Joe Ross Tribe, and My Kickass Van. It in the winter of 2001, Josh and Tamra opened Freaks Local 413 Storefront Theater, a comedy theater devoted to the NYC underground comedy scene. FL 413 was the birthplace of Josh and Tamra's comedy collaborations. Mixing long-form improv with puppetry skills Josh developed as a Muppeteer, with The Jim Henson Company, NYC’s only improv puppet comedy duo was born. The Josh and Tamra Show perform their unique brand of comedy coast to coast. Over the past seven years, they have been featured at a variety of different venues and festivals, including The Bass Red Triangle Comedy Tour, Improv Boston, The Toronto Improv Festival, The Del Close Marathon (NYC), The Los Angeles Festival of Improv Comedy, The Chicago Improv Fringe Festival, The Seattle Festival of Improvised Theater and Minneapolis Improv Festival. When not performing in their on-line sitcom Apartment 413, The Josh and Tamra Show continue to perform live in New York City and beyond.
