Women are inherently unfunny to men, it's a fact, but not unlike the way animals of the same species can communicate with each other, women seem to be able to make each other laugh, thus perpetuating the myth women are funny.

So as a viable demographic networks are cashing in on female viewership with networks like Lifetime & Bravo and programing illustrating female comedic characters. But as we all know about the media, what you see on TV is rarely the truth.

Much of the myth that women are funny comes from them actively being the butt of the joke. With jokes about women drivers, dumb blondes & your fat momma, the myth of the funny female grew, but being the butt of a joke doesn't make you funny, just ask Asian Drivers who are blatantly unfunny people.

Think about the funniest SNL sketch you've ever seen... Maybe it's "Dick in a Box" or "Coneheads" or "Mr.Robinson's Neighborhood" or "Canteen Boy". Whatever sketch comes to mind I can pretty much guarantee it's not "Target Lady". Somewhere down the line the people over at SNL decided women are funny, infusing their writing staff, cast & sketches with a pro-feminist agenda. It's no coincidence this is right about the time SNL started becoming a shell of the once edgy, gut busting laugh machine it once was.

As unfunny as they may be to men, women do have their place in comedy. You couldn't do a sitcom, sketch or movie with exclusively all men right? While it may seem like I'm bashing women, nothing could be further from my intent. I love women. From the touch of a woman to the way she dresses to how she smells, it all drives me nuts in a good way. I think about women with fondness endlessly throughout my day. But men simply don't nor do they want to fantasize about funny women. A good joke never got anybody off.

Genetics

Women are nurturers, sex symbols, mothers and partners to men. But the plate of women everywhere is too full to be funny too. Just like genetics dealt me a hand in which I'd never play in the NBA, women from a strictly scientific perspective are simply not funny to men.

Patience is overrated...

Why women aren't funny-To men: Its because for women humor usually consists of your period, pregnancy, or how fat they are. Most men dont care about your bleeding, bloating, and we most certainly dont like how moody you are; the topic annoys us. Pregnancy is every mans fear; when our girl calls us to talk its either "We're breaking up." Or "I'm Pregnant." Then comes the struggle as to whether or not its our baby, it sends us into a crazy spiral of paranoia and strange feelings we never knew we had. As for whining about being fat. Its just an annoyance when a very sexy woman says "I'm so fat, no one will ever love me." Or similar. If you dont have a stomach bump, and aren't pregnant, you're not freaking fat. GET OVER IT! I'm sorry to break the news but that is the truth.
This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen.
