Artist Mike Mitchell, well known for his "I'm With Coco" image, is considered one of the top digital artists and graphic designers in the world. This Friday, April 6th (7-10 PM), he will open a solo art show at Gallery1988 (Melrose), featuring over 60 different (very) limited prints, which parody many of your favorite pop culture icons by portraying them in very mundane and boring situations. Whether is Mario at a convention ("Furry Con") or Robin bird watching ("Robins"), each piece is witty and perfectly executed. This show will be online at gallery1988.com starting Saturday, April 7th.
