Trunk Monkey - Thief (00:36)This was the first Trunk Monkey spot I directed. I think it was number 3 or 4 in the series. The original agency script was a little subdued and the whole spot was supposed to take place at night. Most of the action was only heard, not seen. I really wanted to do something that was a lot more messed up, so I changed the script to what you see now. On the day of the shoot, the chimp climbed into a tree in the parking lot and threw his own shit at my producer. That was funny. The bridge you see in the spot is the same bridge where Will Ferrel and Jack Black have their confrontation scene in “Anchorman”. I think this spot works.Added about 7 months ago From jeffgordondirector Views: 720 | Comments: 1 |

Naked (05:53)This is not included in the Communication Series but it was shot at the tail end of summer and belongs with those groups of videos. Naked is a short film starring Matthew Faber, J. Morgan, and Willa Rose. It plays in real time as we voyeuristically watch a potentially inept Director attempt to convince his starlet to show her breast, while sabotaging himself with every new fangled solution. I made this after a long summer of shooting my webseries Communication. Needless to say, people were sick of me and I was tired of fighting with everyone. The only crew member that showed up on the morning of the shoot was the boom op. So the boom op and me shot the thing with me as camera operator, director, and neurotic producer. I think the result is pretty funny. I am currently writing a spec sitcom that involves these characters and is about an independent film being made in New York City. I hope you enjoy it, Cheers, David WinkfieldAdded about 8 months ago From Communication Webseries Views: 2,124 | Comments: 4 |

My First Short (03:38)Thanks to everyone who put a lot of hard work into this. The 5 week shoot was grueling but we persevered. I'd like to personally thank DJ LmNoP and the Johnson family. Without your guiding lights I would of been lost on this journey into the artistic unknown. Your brilliance helped me avoid floundering on the rocky shore of the vast sea of creativity and it was what pulled me to the end of the dark tunnel during those last few days of re-shoots. I can not stress enough the importance of your being. To the audience, I hope you enjoy this peek into the human psyche and that you see, if not but a glimpse of, yourself in this piece.Added about 4 months ago From RandomWhiteGuy Views: 131 | Comments: 7 |

Tom's Revenge (04:49)Tom's Revenge was made in 24 hours for The Shootout Boulder 2005. It was shot in-sequence and was not allowed to be edited. Also, the festival had a list of 12 objects/locations/lines that we received at the beginning of the 24 hours. We had to feature five of them -- our choice as to which -- in the movie. The five we chose were a rubber ducky, a Shoot Out Boulder poster, a mosaic park bench, "You're a good man Charlie Brown," and a pumpkin. Winner of Best Comedy, Best Screenplay and Best Director for the festival. Watch as Tom and his friend think up ways to get back at the guy who stole his job. Starring, Chris Grundy, Jeff Kosloski, and Kirk AndersonAdded about 24 days ago From Stabio Views: 80 | Comments: 0 |
"Gentlman Jack" (11:11)PRESS RELEASE : 2007-09-28 The Scranton-based production company Agapic Films has just overseen the shooting of its first film entitled ‘Gentleman Jack’. Agapic Films was founded earlier this year by local producers Joseph Van Wie III and Brian McAndrew. Timothy Calpin, also a Scranton native, wrote and directed the short, which stars Van Wie, Dustin Charles and Rose D ‘Azzo. Calpin garnered success early in 2007 after co-writing a screenplay ‘Assassination Of A High School President’, which was purchased and produced by the Yari Film Group. ‘Assassination’ is slated for major release in April 2008. Set to the backdrop of two different guys trying to pick up the same girl in a bar, ‘Gentleman Jack’ is a dark comedy that poses the question ‘Do true ladies and gentlemen still exist in the world today?’ Shot between the dates September 12th through September 15th, the project is a short film that will have a run time of approximately ten minutes. According to the creative forces behind the film, the project’s purpose is threefold. Firstly, the film can be used as a marketing tool to attract future producers and filmmakers to shoot projects in Scranton and utilize the city’s resources. Secondly, ‘Gentleman Jack’ can be used by Agapic Films as an example of the quality work the company is capable of producting. This too will aid in drawing more film business toward the community. Thirdly, Mr. Calpin will be able to use the film as a calling card for future directorial opportunities.Added about 1 months ago From agapicfilms Views: 251 | Comments: 1 |

"THE BALLAD OF WOODY & MIA" -parody by Loose Bruce Kerr re Woody Allen & Mia Farrow (02:01)This is a new video of Bruce's 1992 parody song which parallels the media saturation regarding Woody Allen's breakup with Mia Farrow and his affair with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn. Woody & Soon-Yi are still together but at the time the story broke, the nation was divided between those who saw the relationship of 60 year old Allen and 25 year old Previn as true love conquering all and those who saw it as improper, even immoral. The parody song was played many times in '92 & '93 on the Dr. Demento and Jim Bohannon radio shows, and was featured on a "basement tapes" edition of Dr. Demento's. The background parts were recorded by Bruce one-at-a-time and mixed down from his 4-track cassette deck, including multiple overdubs of Bruce playing "vocal trumpets." This video has Bruce singing live and playing his Les Paul electric guitar over his old background tracks. A year after first recording this parody song, Bruce resumed his career as a lawyer which he had put on hold for 20 years to record and perform music. He continues to record audios and videos of his parodies and originals while holding down his day job as Assistant General Counsel for Sun Microsystems in Northern California's Silicon Valley. High res video/stereo audio version of this song and other of Bruce's tunes available for free download at Bruce's podcast site: http://loosebrucekerr.libsyn.com The original song it's based on is "Frankie and Johnny," which wikipedia says is either a song from around 1900, or actually may go back to about 1830. It tells the story of a woman who catches a man in flagrante delicto (ok, the lyric doesn't say that) and so shoots him. He probably said, "Ok, I cheated, big deal, so shoot me." And she did. email Bruce at BKerrLaw@aol.comAdded about 5 days ago From bkerr3 Views: 7 | Comments: 0 |
