Asked through an FoI Act enquiry, “why not?”, the cops declared it was “not in the public interest” to tell us. Yet: 1) Kate Moss had been named as the principal suspect by none other than the head of the Yard, Sir Ian Blair, who vowed to spare no effort to nail her and her celeb chums; 2) the supermodel had done a bunk and was effectively on the run – having fled her UK homes before she could tidy away any evidence; 3) both her London home and country mansion were infamous substance binging venues; 4) such searches would have been standard operational procedure if the culprit had been you or me. So it looks like there’s one law for the celebritariat and another for the rest of us. Here then is a “public interest” music video: a hallucinogenic frolic though Kate Moss biographer, Fred Vermorel’s extensive Kate Moss archive, including hitherto unseen paparazzi footage. And guess what? The paps witnessed plenty signs of class “A” goings-on, from crack preparation in Kate’n’Pete’s home studio, to substance chopping on magazine covers, to rolled-up fivers left in the notorious Circus outbuilding. Even signs a Wendy House of Kate’s then three-year-old kid, Lila Grace, was used for “adult practices.” Was that the meaning of the green snake that fascinated Lila? Note all images were obtained from public vantage points or by permission of the then legal key holders. The vid also shows items of the supermodel’s discarded underwear that sent for DNA analysis by the biographer. < less
