0009 Joey Karate UFC 77 Hostile Terrotory Picks from Damon Zwicker
0009 Joey Karate UFC 77 Hostile Terr... (02:16)
Bursting into the Mixed Martial Arts World One Year Ago, Joey Karate gives you his winnig picks for UFC 77 Hostile Territory. More about the UFC here: Dana White: “UFC 77: Hostile Territory” Sold Out Posted by MMA Junkie on October 11, 2007 at 1:43 pm ET Next weekend’s UFC 77 event, which takes place at U.S. Bank Arena in downtown Cincinnati, is officially a sold-out event. UFC President Dana White today made the announcement as part of a media conference call for the event, which airs Saturday, Oct. 20 on pay-per-view. Current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and former champ Rich Franklin battle in the night’s main event. “Like UFC 68 (in Columbus), this one is sold out,” White said. UFC 77 is the second UFC show held in Ohio this year. UFC 68 took place March 3 in Columbus, Ohio, and set a then-record for attendance at a North American MMA show, and the event shattered Nationwide Arena venue records for attendance, live gate and merchandise sales. As MMAjunkie.com first reported, the UFC will return to Columbus for a March 1, 2008 show. In addition to Silva vs. Franklin, UFC 77 will feature a pivotal heavyweight battle between former champ Tim Sylvia and undefeated contender Brandon Vera. Despite White’s comments today, some random tickets are still available for purchase through ticketmaster.com. (However, they’re unlikely to last long.) For the full UFC 77 fight card, check out the UFC Rumors section of MMAjunkie.com.
