in 1979 ralph bakshis Lord of the Rings hit theatres! it was praised and damned by critics, and by audiences. Bakshi had planned on finishing the trilogy BUT - his animated version of the Return of the King was never completed. "this is a little parody made for no money (duh). it is NOT to be taken internally. In fact we are BIG fans of mr. Bakshi (he even has us on his myspace). we hope it gets a giggle".
