(5:21) Storyteller/monologist Miss Coco Peru aka Clinton Leupp has written, produced, directed, and starred in shows across the globe including Miss Coco Peru in My Goddamn Cabaret, Miss Coco Peru: A Legend in Progress (1992 Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC) Award), Miss Coco Peru’s Universe (1998 GLAAD Media Award nomination), Miss Coco Peru’s Glorious Wounds…she’s damaged (2001 GLAAD Media Award nomination), and Miss Coco Peru is Undaunted (2004 GLAAD Media Award for Best L.A. Theater). On screen, Miss Coco was seen in the feature films To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, Trick, and Girls Will Be Girls. Before the first practice can begin, a melee between two of the most popular Clique breaks out and the kids choose sides causing the show to teeter near cancellation. Elle and her crew, THE GOOD GIRLS, have two weeks to convince and rally every model, sponsor and designer who has pulled out of the show to come back and help raise money for, Water for Africa. This task would be simple if it wasn’t for the web of deception of every MEAN GIRL, the cockiness of every STEPPER, the nonchalant attitude of the KRUMPERS, but thank heavens for THE FIXXERS, a duo who seize this opportunity to audition in front of the reality television crew, and oh yeah, help Elle and the Water for Africa people. (3:29) The Song - "Chick Lit tells the story of a young girl named Agatha who one day, while collecting fire wood to blend into an immune-system boosting power shake, encounters a magic well. She knows the well is magic because it smells like Axe, and so she nervously calls three desperate wishes into its still black depths. There isn't a lot of room for storytelling in a three minute pop song, unless you're Bright Eyes, so that's where the story ends, but we definitely intend to pick it up in another song somewhere down the line. For now, try to revel in the promise of this initial set-up." The Video - "We made a video.
