Major Entertainment News – McKnight Shuns Emmy Bid

Today at 7:03pm New York – In solidarity with actress Katherine Heigl, Sandy McKnight announced today that he would not accept an Emmy nomination for his show “Perry”, which has become an underground hit.

McKnight, writer and creator of the series, says the show has not yet achieved its potential, and until it does, he won’t submit it for consideration. There is one eight-minute episode, which can be seen in 80 countries and three planets, but rarely is.

An underground hit is difficult to quantify. Few people live underground, and many of those who do have no access to electricity. Consequently, underground hits are often seen by as few as 5 people, and perhaps an occasional mole or earthworm. However, this demographic is highly desirable to certain advertisers, mostly silly ones.

Heigl announced on Monday that she would not submit her performance on “Grey’s Anatomy” for Emmy consideration this year, and controversially blamed the writers.

McKnight, being the show’s writer, has blamed the actors, the director and the editor. He also feels the Best Boy wasn’t the best, and the Gaffer committed too many gaffes. “Amateurs, I tell you! And I can prove it…I didn’t pay any of them!” declared an excitable McKnight at the sparsely attended press conference.

None of the actors had any comment, which McKnight explained as being due to their being in an “incarcerated state”, possibly New Jersey. “Perry” is seen daily at www.youtube.com/sandalex22. To obtain a DVD of the show, illegally download it from your computer and burn it onto a blank DVD.
