more >Ross Bigley has been a filmmaker since the early nineties, born in Madison he has also worked as an editorial cartoonist, photographer, graphic designer and as a freelance illustrator. In 1990 he co-founded Men at Work Studios and Beyond Pictures in 1991 became a certified producer at MATA Community Media. Where he has produced and helped out on over 30 productions as a writer, director, editor, and producer.
A 1991 graduate of Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design he has shown his artwork in the Fredrick Layton Gallery, Firehouse Gallery, ArtCentric Gallery, and The Warsaw Academy of Poland. And from 1997-99 he was a co-owner of ArtCentric.
As a Filmmaker he has completed 20 shorts and has been nominated in the Philo Video Awards. A portion of his Video The Dirty Job was entered into the overall excellence award for MATA Community Media at The Hometown Awards, which they won for. In 1995 he founded The Milwaukee Video/ Film Festival at MATA Community Media, which ran till 1998. In 1999 he started up Rabid Monkey Pictures, which focused on his writing and directing videos with a fresh perspective, that production company has since evolved into Dirty Job Films.
In 2003 he started Old Skool Productions with Tony Myers. They have brought back The Milwaukee Video/Film Festival in June of that year.
Currently Ross has a number of scripts that he's developing and hopes to shoot. < less

Why is mediocrity prevalent? Or maybe I should ask, why is lameness popular?
Seriously, another Transformer movie? If a robot can turn in to a car or truck, why does it need to shot a gun? Why can't it just turn his arm into a cannon? Why is there a remake of the Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3? Madea goes to Jail and Paul Blart Mall Cop were popular, couldn't a sane adult look at those films and go no thank you.
And why do people think Jay Leno is funny? Watching the first few Jimmy Fallon shows...
