Rob Thomas is a singer-songwriter from Florida. He is best known as the frontman of the band Matchbox Twenty. He won three Grammy Awards for his collaboration with Carlos Santana on the track "Smooth," and has also appeared on the shows The Voice, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Real Time with Bill Maher, and Punk'd. He was awarded the Songwriter's Hall of Fame Starlight Award in 2004. Rob is also an outspoken advocate for animal rights, and the legalization of same-sex marriage.
